[RP Story] Death in the Family

He had fallen. She knew it in her heart. She knew it in every fiber of her bone. Demons! She would make them pay.
She would stay with him to the end. Like Draka with Durotan, she would fight until there was nothing left but her
own death - or the deaths of thoose who dared come close to her.

She let out a howl of grief. She could almost not stand looking at the body of the Orc next to her. Vengeance!
That would be her way from now on. But she never got the chance. A large sword entered her back. She fell to the ground
and died next to her companion. Her loved one.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ganjola awoke, quite harshly from his plesent sleep with Aital by the means of a long stick hitting his head. A Crude, but effective method.
"Whatcha been doin dat foh, mon" he said, rubbing his head.
"Wake up da Wolfs, mon. We much search foh Saadi an Grothak".

Ganjola looked after her in the distance as she run off to the tent where Hitochi slept. Aital, having woke up by the noice
rubbed her eyes and looked at the warrior next to her.
"But...be dey not on vacation?"
"Mi dont know mi love" he said, standing up, picking up The Kings Guardian, a Sword he had recived for his service to Shattrah
City and left the tent, Aital following closely.

In the distance, a sandcloud was moving towards them, dusted up by a Wolf riding towards them quickly. The rider seemed to
want to hurry even futher now when he saw his destination - Sun Rock Retreat.

Malko looked at him. And understood.
"I see you wear the Tabard of the True Horde, Troll. I have grave news from Thrallmar"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ganjola lovered his head. Ormak did the same. The news they heard was unbearable. Unthinkable. Yet, it was part of beeing Horde. And it was part of beeing a Thunderwolf.

That did not make it any easier.

"So what do we do now?" Ormak asked glancing at Ganjola who held Aital close to him, almost as he was afraid he
would loose her too should he let go.
"Can the Thunderwolfs continue without them?"

Malko pondered this statement for a moment. However, before she could answer, Hitochi the Blademaster spoke,
standing up at his full lengh with a shining blade in his hand.
"Not as it is. But as it will be."

(Aital's POV)
---------------------------------------------------------------

He had fallen. She knew it in her heart. She knew it in every fiber of her bone. Demons! She would make them pay.
She would stay with him to the end. Like Draka with Durotan, she would fight until there was nothing left but her

---------------------------------------------------------------

Aital woke up in Ganjola's arms, but staid still, breathing deeply she closed her eyes, trying to get back to sleep, but the dream was too vivid it kept playing in her minds eye, nagging her with something she couldn't put a finger on, she often dreamt about the death of those close to her but she knew them dreams, this one was different and scared her with it's crystal clarity.

She drifted back to sleep again but was awoken by a dull thud close to her ears, she opened her eyes and saw Malko, who was whispering franticly
"Wake up da Wolfs, mon. We much search foh Saadi an Grothak".
When she heard those words Aital's heart started beating faster, barely concealing her panic she looked at Ganjola and asked desperately:
"But...be dey not on vacation?"
They had to be, they where fine she knew they had to be fine this were Saadi and Grothak they were talking about they had to be fine. But Ganjola just looked at her and shook his head "Mi don't know mi love" he said as he picked up his sword and left the tent.

After taking a few deep breathes she followed him outside towards Malko, who was staring in the distance at a dust cloud that came closer and revealed a lone rider. When he came closer she saw he wore the armour of Thrallmar the outpost beyond the portal and she froze, that was where they were supposed to be. The rider came to a halt before Malko "I see you wear the Tabard of the True Horde, Troll. I have grave news from Thrallmar" he said, Aital started shaking, she didn't notice it when Ganjola embraced her, she barely heard how the orc retold her dream, all she felt was cold, so cold.

The grief and the rage of the clan she barely noticed, frantic discussions became random distant words, only when Ganjola started stroking her hair did she refocus a little, the first thing she noticed was the tight grip he had on her stomach as she laid her hand on top of his she heard Hitochi speak "Not as it is. But as it will be." But how could there be anything after this she thought as finally tears started rolling down her face.

In the middle of the night, Tikin woke up in the Scryers' chambers in Shattrath City. He was covered in sweat and his head ached like there were thousand pins struck in his mind. Some evil energy in the Nether had suddenly gotten stronger and his sleeping mind wasn't prepared for such a burst.

"Something is wrong, really wrong. I can feel it." Tikin spoke quietly to himself.

Hitochi couldnt sleep... he sat all night in his tent in deep meditation trying to understand why his mind and his body refused to rest. Like something needed to be done...

- If only you could be here now father... maybe you could provide me with an answer to my questions... Hitochi thought that maybe it was something wrong with himself... but then again... his mind had been at peace since he understood what had troubled him since his childhood.

He focus and tries to hear the faint whisper of the wind... ... ... Hitochi... Hitochi...
It was almost as if someone was calling his name... that voice... Master Lantresor? The wind carried his voice...

The ones you swore to protect Hitochi... they were overwhelmed by demon power...

- You mean... ? Gorthak... and the warlady?

Malko rushed into Hitochi's tent, her breathing was erratic almost not letting her speak, a grim look on her face as Hitochi rose from his meditation.

Hitochi!! Grothak and Sa....

Hitochi got the answer Lantresor was about to give him...

I already know girl... Hitochi puts his hands on Malko's shoulder, his face is emotionless...

- [low] I failed them... Come lets go to the others...

As they came out of the tent the others were already together... a large could of dust all around as they spoke to a wolf rider bearing the mark of Thrallmar. As they approached they heard the news... and the doubts that came after...

As he spoke... Hitochi ran as quickly as he could... at such speed he almost just vanished...

Malko was staying in a hut near the river. She fall asleep with a thought that now it all goes not that bad really...and was almost feeling that happiness is so near... for everyone. Thus she was dreaming...

...She was walking by the river's bench... it was warm but strange thick fog lied on the ground... she sniffed the air and felt deep grief in it... Malko glanced at the river and saw a boat... A tall Troll with a white-top hat, black tuxedo, dark glasses, and wool plugs in the nostrils was sitting in boat... His face was colored white as if it was a skull.
"Baron Samedi?", - thought Malko, "What is he doing here?"... As this thought stroke her head, she saw two familiar figures sitting in the boat. Two Orcs, male and female...holding hands and smiling. Malko entered the river to find out who were these orcs... and recognised Saadi... "Noooooo!", - cried young female troll trying to reach the boat... but fog became thicker and she had to give up...

Malko woke up trembling and in tears...
She rushed up, running until she reached the other side of the village. She found Ganjola lying next to Aital in their tent
and without finesse, she hit him on his head with her staff. It had the desired effect.
"Whatcha been doin dat foh, mon" he said, rubbing his head.
"Wake up da Wolfs, mon. We much search foh Saadi an Grothak".

She ran in as a wind into Hitochi tent... almost yelling "Hitochi!! Grothak and Sa...."
But he knew that... he already knew...
They went out to others... and a wolf-rider approached with grim news that left no doubts... The emptiness filled Malko from the inside, she just sat on the ground staring into a distance... She heard voices around, people whispering... she heard a question "Can the Thunderwolfs continue without them?"... pale and weak she opened her mouth to just say something but sudden spasm of tears made her to shut up... She bit her tongue feeling now nothing except salt blood and bitter tears...

Her mind drowned deep into the darkness... she heard Kalfu laughing there. But as if it mattered? And from far away she heard Hitochi speaking:

"Not as it is. But as it will be."

Umaua was meditating away her recent visit to shadowmoon. As she sat beneat a great mushroom in Zangarmarsh, she suddenly felt great sadness. As suddenly as the sadness had came, it gave away to burning rage, and then to darkness.

In darkness she felt her ancestors and long dead friends, gathering. But why? It felt strange, feeling of joy ,mixed with sadness. Finally one feeling became clear, they welcomed someone. No, no it is not me. Who?

Something wet pushed her. Again that wet and cool thing touched her face. As she opened her eyes, she saw her frostwolf standing over her. Ground beneath her was rocky, and red. Where was she? What had happened?

Then she remembered that feeling of sadness, and welcoming ancestors. Then she started to cry silently. Some one had died, someone close to her.
